Remember that February 20 is International Pipe Smoking Day. Hopefully clubs can do something to celebrate the day. Also think about getting press for whatever event is planned to get the good word about pipe smoking out in the public. Tthe site listed is a year out of date. I suppose there is a good reason to schedule this event in the middle of the week, but it sure crimps one's style in trying to plan an activity for this event.
